Stress Reduction for Greater Health & Well-being
Stress Reduction for Greater Health and Well-Being provides detailed instruction in the principles of "mindfulness", an in-depth method of mind-body awareness that can be applied to daily life. Mindfulness promotes greater levels of health and well-being, is very effective for coping with stress, pain and illness and is used as a complementary approach for treating a wide range of health conditions. Sitting meditation and a variety of other practical tools, including gentle yoga stretching, relaxation techniques, and breathing exercises will be taught and practiced in each class. The course is appropriate for beginners and those with experience. Chairs are available for sitting meditation or students can brin a firm cushion or blanket for the floor.

Cost $145 Oxford Residents ($155 Non-Residents)
Early Bird Discount $10 off if registered 48 hours prior to start of class.
Included in the fee is a guided instructional CD for practicing on one's own.
INSTRUCTOR INFORMATION
The instructor, Sue Wall, has her MPH in health education (Yale School of Medicine) and certifications in Kripalu Yoga instruction and Phoenix Rising and Structural Yoga therapies with more than 20 years experience.
