Meditation for Stress Reduction, Health & Well-being
Receive in-depth training in the foundations of mindfulness meditation, a method that has been widely used as an effective tool for reducing stress, managing pain and illness and promoting overall health and well being. Topics include benefits, the mind-body process, principles of mindfulness, applications for everyday living, and development of insight. Each class provides instruction and practice in sitting meditation and other practical techniques along with opportunities for discussion.

The instructor, Sue Wall, has her MPH in health education (Yale School of Medicine) and certifications in Kripalu Yoga instruction and Phoenix Rising and Structural Yoga therapies with more than 20 years experience.
Please bring a yoga mat to class.
Cancellation Policy
Recreation Dept
If we have to cancel a class or program, due to weather, facility conflicts or lack of participation, we will attempt to reschedule a make up.
Failing that, we will gladly refund your money for the appropriate amount.
If you miss a class or program for any reason, there will be no refund given.
