Dinner with an Amish Family and a visit to Longwood Gardens, the renowned du Pont Estate.
Trip Highlights
Day 1: We're bound for Lancaster, PA, the heart of Amish country. Explore Longwood Gardens, the renowned du Pont Estate. Over 40 indoor/outdoor gardens, conservatory, dancing fountains and great gift shop. Spend 2 nights at the Heritage Hotel, a full service property featuring restaurant, bar, fitness room and outdoor pool. Welcome dinner tonight at Millers Smorgasbord.
Day 2: This morning we're invited to visit the Amish Farm with our Amish friends, to see first hand their way of life by tourning their farm, home, woodshop and visiting with their animals. Explore Kitchen Kettle Village with lunch on own - 42 shops and restaurants jammed full of Lancaster county's simple pleasures.
This afternoon we have reserved seats at the Millennium Theatre for their brand new production "Jonah". Set sail on a fantastic journey with one of the Bible's most colorful prophets. This lively exhilarating musical delivers powerful themes of love, mercy, obedience and second chances in an uproarious adventure that brings you right into the heart of the action! Tonight we dine with the Amish at the Hershey Farm Restaurant. Enjoy a traditional PA Dutch family-style meal with a local Amish family. Hear personal stories about their way of life, farming, their children's schooling, their beliefs and customs and how they interact with the modern world.
Day 3: This morning we join our local guide for a guided Amish Countryside Tour as we drive through the farmlands and learn about their way of life. We head for home with so many special Amish memories.

Trip Cancellation Insurance
Trip Cancellation Insurance is available through the National Tour Association Protection Plan and is handled by the individual passenger.
This protection plan is strongly recommended by Friendship Tours. As per the application, pre-existing conditions and default are covered, only if the application is received by the NTA Protection Plan and postmarked within 14 days of initial deposit.

Cancellation Policy: If a passenger cancels from deposit to June 15, 2012 there will be a fee of $75 pp; June 16 to July 13, 2012, the fee is $200 pp; no refunds if canceled after July 13, 2012 unless a substitute is provided.
