April 18 -19, 2015  *  2 Days/3 Meals

Depart for an Adventure into the Wine Heartland of Long Island, New York. 

Trip Itinerary
  • We will first transfer to New London to board the Cross Sound Ferry, which takes us to the eastern most point of the North Fork of Long Island, Orient Point. Travel through the vineyards of the North Fork to Duck Walk Vineyard to taste some of their award winning wines.
  • Afterwards we will enjoy lunch on own with some shopping time in charming Riverhead.
  • Next, we visit the Palmer Vineyards to taste some of their customized wines in a beautiful setting.
  • We check into our hotel - the Hilton Garden Inn in Riverhead. Relax with such amenities as indoor pool, whirlpools, outdoor jacuzzi with fire pit and sauna. This evening enjoy a private event - a five course specially Chef prepared dinner with wine pairings from Martha Clara Vineyard.
  • On Day Two we check out and visit the Old Westbury Gardens and Mansion. Built and designed in 1906, it is on the list of historical landmarks with over 200 acres of perfectly sculptured gardens, lakes, ponds and woods surrounding the elegant Mansion of John S. Phipps filled with old English antiques and artwork.
  • We then travel to Port Jefferson where C'Est Cheese will close its doors to the public so we may enjoy a private wine and cheese tasting. Different stations will offer classic French Bordeaux and California Sauvignons paired with artisan cheeses. Also, a pre-ordered box lunch will be provided for each guest with gourmet sandwiches.
  • We head back to the North Fork and stop at the renowned Pindar Vineyards that provides fantastic scenery for a relaxing tasting.
  • A short hop to charming Greenport on the water for some last minute shopping, before we re-board the Ferry and return to New London and home.
