Travel to the southern most tip of New Jersey to Cape May, a Victorian village listed on the National Register of Historic Places.  

Trip Itinerary
  • Day 1: Visit the Towne of Historic Smithville, filled with Old World charm and period buildings. Enjoy lunch on own at a choice of restaurants and browse the shops along the wooden Boardwalk and Village Green. We arrive at Cape May and check into our seaside hotel - The Marquis de Lafayette - perfectly located between the ocean beach and pedestrian shopping plaza. This evening enjoy a leisurely dinner at Aleathea's Restaurant, located one block from the hotel just inside the big wraparound porch of the Inn of Cape May.
  • Day 2: After breakfast, we visit the Physick Estate, Cape May's only Victorian House Museum. Experience the opulence and life as it was in the 1890's. This visit is paired with a trolley ride through the historic district. We next depart for Cape May Point State Park. Located on Cape May's peninsula at the southern tip of New Jersey, the scenery offers an ever changing shoreline of dunes, coastal marshes and ponds, wooded islands and varied uplands. We will also visit the Cape May Point Lighthouse and Sunset Beach. In the early afternoon, return to the hotel to enjoy its many amenities, stroll the beach or shop at the historic Washington Street Mall. This evening we experience Dinner at an Historic Inn.
  • Day 3: Depart for the Marina and enjoy a boat cruise aboard the Cape May Spirit. Enjoy light snacks and beverages as we cruise around Cape May Point and up the coast viewing dolphins, birds and other wildlife. Afterwards, we will visit the award-winning Cape May Winery for a tour and tasting. We enjoy some free time in the village this afternoon, with dinner this evening at the Lobster House.
  • Day 4: On our last day we check out after a leisurely breakfast and head for Atlantic City, with a casino bonus at Resorts Casino on the famous Atlantic City Boardwalk. With an afternoon departure we arrive home early this evening.
